January 1st, my family and I celebrated the swearing in of my Brother Kenneth D. Sanders. He was elected in November 2018 to the Justice of the Peace position, Precinct 7 in Mansfield, Texas. Auto Soul in Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Classic Car Club held their 7th annual “I Know You Got Soul” Car Show. Brush Park was the scene as old school cars and soul music collided for a fun family event. Proceeds from this years show benefitted the Boys and Girls Club of Mount Vernon. Car clubs came from Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx and other parts of Westchester to showcase their classic cars. Lessons From My Grandfather

My maternal grandparents died before I was born in the 1980’s. I have never seen a photograph of my grandfather. He passed away when my mom was 12 years-old in 1959. My grandmother died in 1973.
