Celebration of Life

The death of a loved one is always difficult to endure but it is especially hard when it happens right before the Christmas Holidays. I spent the Holidays in Texas with my family. A few days before Christmas my cousin was found in his home. He lived alone and had passed days earlier.

Born August 6th 1947 in Stop Six, Texas to Willie D. and Donnie Bell Harris, Spencer Harris, III came from a very large family. They loved him dearly and were shocked at his passing.

Spencer was my oldest male first cousin on my maternal side. He was 30+ years older than me so we didn’t have a tight-knit relationship. His children were closer to my age. I felt compelled to use my gift, and honor the life he lived.

I sat down with a few relatives to learn more about my cousin. Watch my memorial tribute to cousin Spencer, gone but surely never forgotten.
